modwheel pitched down on VST's

Hi,

I wonder if anybody else is having this issue. I'm using my Kontrol s61 mk3 with Ableton, and when I load VST's like Serum, the mod wheel always starts pitched all the way down, even though it's physically set in the middle. The pitch wheel is totally fine and reflects the physical reality of its location. All I have to do is move the mod wheel and it does register correctly, but it's a bit annoying that it resets to all the way down every time I change a preset in the VST. Clearly it's not supposed to act that way.

@bendean Could it be that you assigned the modwheel to something else in Ableton. Pitch wheel should have an influence on pitch but modwheel should not.

I think he's just using the wrong term. I've noticed this as well that the mod wheel initially reacts as if the mod wheel is pulled down to the lowest setting rather than reading the setting it's set to when it's pulled up at least initially on my S88mk3 when I open the instrument. It hasn't been a problem so far but I doubt it's the way you would want it to act. Actually the same thing applies to the volume slider.
