Supported expression pedals?

I have 2 Roland EV-5's and they worked with the MkII but are not working with the MkIII - tried all options for setup. These are bog standard expression pedals so if these are not working what does? Or is there an ideal setup for the EV-5's I have not got right?

    OK now it works after a reboot so it is compatible

    Try to adjust pedal port settings in controller editor.

    This is a MkIII, controller editor doesn't work with it and I tried adjusting settings in the keyboard but nothing works
