plugin not found..please open the standalone

I am following the directions on the site to rescan in standalone. All is well until I start my DAW(Protools), open Komplete Kontrol. Go to Edit>Preferences>Plug-ins to rescan. It just says Plug-In and doesn't show any plug-ins to rescan. Just the word Plug-in. I try to rescan and it still doesn't work.

Ok, so is everything in there in Komplete Kontrol in standalone? Or are the plug-ins missing there as well?

Do Komplete Kontrol and ProTools have full disk access? How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

If nothing shows in standalone as well, try to reset the database, as explained here: KOMPLETE KONTROL Crashes

If it's only in Pro Tools, resetting the database could help. You can also try to do a rescan of the plug-ins of Komplete Kontrol when in ProTools.
