S61 mk3 power issue
Apologies off the bat as I can see this has been discussed several times, but I can't seem to find a straight answer. I have had the S61 for a few days, love it it. Had it running into one of my iMac's two USB C ports and it works perfectly. I usually run two other monitors from the iMac, and because of its vintage I need to use both USB C ports for display.
So I followed the instructions for running the keyboard from a USB A connection, i.e. using the second USB C port on the keyboard to a charger via a USB C cable. Still get the 'not enough power' message.
I am using a standard USB C to USB A cable that is rated for charging. I just bought a 5V, 12W 2.4A USB A wall charger just to be sure I exceeded the specs quoted by NI for this purpose. I have even tried running the charger from its own power outlet elsewhere in my studio - still not enough power.
What am I missing? Does this set up have to be USB C wall charger through a USB C to USB C cable? Is there a particular type of cable I need for this process?

I would suggest USB C charger rated at 20W with Power Delivery (very important) with good quality USB C to USB C cable, capable of PD.
USB C to A is good for connecting to computer to pass data but not for connecting additional power needed.
