Kontakt 6 not showing up in GarageBand AU,

Hi, I have GarageBand 10.x.x and just installed Kontakt 6 and Reaktor 6. Only Reaktor 6 shows up in the Native Instruments plugin under the Audio Units (AU), and not Kontakt 6. So far I dragged the Kontakt 6 plug-in’s component file into the “Component” folder by selecting Go > (While Holding Option Key) > Library > Audio > Plug-ins > Components. Then restarted. Still nothing. Please help!

I was actually able to find it in by changing the software instrument in GarageBand to AU Instruments. I saw NI sitting here in the sublist !

Where did you drag this file from ? By default the Kontakt 6 component is installed here:

Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > Components

It doesn't show the version number though, that might be the confusion here

If it's not here, you need to reinstall Kontakt 6 in Native Access.

Also make sure to give Full Disk Access to GarageBand: How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS
