Question about velocity and volume in Kontakt

I've been using Kontakt 5 for years and never noticed this until trying out Sitala, but the softer I play a sample through my midi keyboard in Kontakt doesn't seem to drop the volume very much.

I'd love to be able to have the volume react to the strength of hitting the keys, is there any way to do this in Kontakt 5? The only way I've been able to make it work is to create velocity zones for each note and adjust the volume of each, but that's super time consuming
