Cremona Quartet Annoyance

I'm trying to get into these instruments and I've found a problem. When I start a melody, there's a sudden sound of a bow hitting a string. I find it obnoxious and want to disable that. However, I can't find a setting. Is there a way?

can you specify what instrument you have loaded with that problem, for example i tried stradivari violin and it sound amazing without any annoying sounds you described.

BTW, I don't understand why NI didn't make Solo versions of the string orchestra products. I love their sound, yet I can't use individual instruments. It's odd.
