Like many others I was very disappointed to discover the current version of Kontakt no longer imports from other formats.
As I own a copy of Awave (which I run on OSX using Wine), I asked the developer to support exporting to a Kontakt format.
He has now done this.. and after assisting him with his testing the current version imports and successfully converts many many formats into Kontakt 3 format.
After I've done that I just use the batch format converter inbuilt into Kontakt to update them and everything works great. I have converted over 1000 sounds using this method and I am extremely happy with the results.
I just wanted to congratulate the developer and provide some support to the many users out there who are struggling to import their files.
