Massive X suddenly changes sound

in Massive X & Synths

often with massive X it will change the sound I have designed if I duplicate, leave the project open for a while the oscilators change to this nasty digital distortion. All I have to do is reload the preset and its back but that means every time I tweak it a little bit I have to save another preset or risk loosing the sound. Anyone else have this issue?

    And, with this total lack of info of any kind (operating system? Computer specs? DAW?), I doubt that anyone will be able to help.
