Pro tools crashes when selecting the tuner in Guitar Rig 6. Anyone else experience this, and/or have a solution?

we have not seen this behaviour. Could you please tell us which version of Guitar Rig 6 and Pro Tools you are using? On which operating system are you using?

Now when simply selecting the plug in Pro Tools crashes.

Did you get any crash logs that you could send us? I really can't tell what's going on from here. These are macOS and Pro Tools versions that are supported and have been tested.

I have had the same problem. I'm running macOS 10.14.6, Pro Tools 2021.10.0, and Guitar Rig 6 Pro 6.2.2. It only happens the first time I load the Guitar Rig plugin in a session, and only with 48k sessions.

I have found a workaround: after Pro Tools crashes, I briefly run and then quit the standalone Guitar Rig app, and when I reopen the same Pro Tools session Guitar Rig runs normally, that session never has that problem again, and all other sessions are free of that problem until the computer is restarted.
