Kontakt 7 , nothing audible , within Cubase

hi there !

In Cubase no Sounds of the loaded Kontakt 7 player are audible (also when I play notes on the keyboard within the Kontakt 7 app ) . The version 6 works super within Cubase , but then is says for many libraries „ version to old use a newer version “ . Otherwise would mind just using this version ;-)

so the problem is only with the 7 version . Within my Cubase . The stand alone opens and I can play all the sounds there on the keyboard I can chose in the “view” window .

can u reset it ?

or what to do ?

I checked the other questions but nothing helped so far .


what to to ?

I Would so much appreciate help .

    @CESU Please try to open Kontakt in standalone, go to View, select Rack View, show outputs:

    Then choose the following:

    Close Kontakt, open Cubase, load a Kontakt 7 instance, do you get sound now?

    @CESU Great, thanks for the update, what did you have to restart for it to work? Kontakt, Cubase or your computer? Just so next time i add the needed extra step.

    Dear Jeremy ,of Course:

    after i Closed both Kontakt and Cubase and restarted Cubase , it worked .
