Hi everyone.
I was sure I recently recorded MIDI output from KK software in the most recent version of Logic (10.8.1), but it's not working now.
Am I going mad, or is there a way to do it?
Thanks.
Apple briefly introduced the ability for AU plug-ins to do this in Q4 2023, however they removed it in a subsequent update as it was experiencing some bugs and issues.
Yes it works now
It is now possible with Logic 11
Create 2 instrument tracks. In first track load Komplete Kontrol (without a plugin inserted) and start up the ARP or other play assist feature. In the second track load a plugin instrument and open the inspector. Set the Internal MIDI in to accept the output from Komplete Kontrol (and disable the hardware keyboard MIDI in). Arm tracks and play
excellent! Many thanks Kymeia.

Thank you for verifying my sanity. I thought I was losing it there for a while 😊
I hope this feature comes back soon!
Is it possible now, in Logic Pro 11.01? Or can you recommend some alternative means? I want to vary the arpeggiator settings in a Kontakt app (Sonuscore Origins v6) and capture the midi output for further manipulation. (MacOS Sonoma 14.5)
hi folks.
Just tried this in Logic 11.0.1 and it didn’t work. Are there some steps I can follow to get it to work? Thanks
