Shure MV7 USB Mic with Guitar Rig 5?

Last year, I switched to the Shure MV7 mic that connects directly to USB (was previously using the SM7b with an Audient interface box, which always worked great).

I posted a thread, where I wasn't able to get the MV7 to work with Guitar Rig 5 (R2641), as it gave me an error message (see below). Here is the original post (Guitar Rig Crashes When Using USB Mic — Community (native-instruments.com)

It's been a year (and I've upgrade to all the latest firmware for my mic), and I'm still getting this error. Was wondering if a fix has been found for this yet, or do I need to upgrade my Guitar Rig to make it work?
