@polly waffle The problem is on the DAW side, not all DAWS can accept All MIDI channels for a single track, you need to do the routing inside the DAW, I'll take Ableton as an example, Bitwig should have a similar setup:

Here I've created one MIDI track by MIDI channel for my 3 splits and routed each of them to Kontakt.

The keyboard does transmit to the right MIDI channels, a quick opening of MIDI monitor will show you something like this: How to Monitor the Input of a MIDI Controller

this appears to be a direct lie about the midi channel output of the s88 ...... you can set as many midi channels on split zones as u like and the keyboard only transmits on channel 1....period

In Cubase it's possible to open 16 MIDI and 16 Audio Tracks at ones .

In Bitwig open a project and add Komplete and two more MIDI tracks and you will see input and select Komplete or Kontakt which must be in multi mode ( in Komplete you will be able to do as it's showed in Manual)

I am on Windows so maybe it's easier but I don't know.

    I wish you success .
