Komplete kontrol plugins are loading in logic pro
When I try to load my complete control plug-ins into Logic Pro, it says M1 silicon is not registering them or recognizing them. I can’t figure out how to get it to register. My contact plug-ins are loading just fine. Anyone know what it is or had this happened to them?

Can you post a screenshot of the error message? "it says M1 silicon is not registering them or recognizing them"

I appreciate any help, thank you

Generally that means exactly what it says. You need to open komplete kontrol and/or Kontakt in "standalone mode" outside of Logic to let the apps rescan all the library files and supporting elements. Then once you do that, you can retry loading the plugin versions in Logic. :-)

Thank you, that picture was from trying to open Komplete in stand alone mode they both have the same error

What version of Kontakt are you using that opened them and what version of Komplete Kontrol are you using? It looks like a VST2 versus VST3 mismatch.

Please help me! The same thing has happened to me even though I’m rescanning the standalone plug-in. Every time I try to open up in logic Pro the sounds are just not appearing this happened ever since I re-configured my libraries and move them to a new hard drive. I made sure all the routing was correct and re-downloaded everything it still was not working and it’s taking me over 30 hours.

@Crite3000 Do you mean there are no instruments in the browser? Can you load other NI plug-ins, like Kontakt 7 or Reaktor?
Do you get a similar error message? Have you tried to reset Komplete Kontrol's database?
Reinitialize the KOMPLETE KONTROL Database
- Go to the following location on your computer:
- Macintosh HD > Users > *Your User Name* > Library > Application Support > Native Instruments
- Note: The User Library folder is hidden. See this article for instructions to access hidden macOS folders.
- Search through the Native Instruments folder at this location to find the KOMPLETE KONTROL folder.
- Delete only the KOMPLETE KONTROL folder found here.
- Note: Deleting other NI product folders could result in unexpected behavior with other applications.
- Reboot your computer and reopen the KOMPLETE KONTROL software to check that the issue has been resolved.

Thank you, I will try it now and let you know

I think what happened is one of my hard drives kept ejecting and now I’m trying to figure out how to get it to read the files from a different place because nothing else has worked. Hope you have any suggestions on that. please feel free to let me know because now I’m starting to get angry. You know everything is working fine, and then logic did some sort of update that started re-downloading sounds, and everything went haywire from there.

@Thebeautifulj If your external hard drive is faulty it might be good to have it repaired or replaced. You could start here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/102611
The plugins not being found should not be related though, as all files should be installed on your system's drive. Let us know if you still need help, we'll need to get in touch by email to check your system.
