disappointed in s88 mk3 (resolved!)

well.....hate to be that guy...

got my s88 mk3 and the pitch mod wheels would catch on something....skrittttt skritttt

sent back to sweetwater under warranty...they shipped me brand new one

so this one on the mod wheel is smooth on way up, then on down there is a tick at 50% and tok at 25%

the s61 mk3 is buttery smooth

will live with this as not paying to ship back second box, but piss poor experience before even getting to the software, knobs or display

That's really a shame. I got my new S88 mk3 last month direct from NI and everything was perfect. I had to cancel my pre-order from Sweetwater to do it. Now I'm kind of glad I did.

Yeah. I may open it up to inspect at some point. If I have any other problems, will buy one locally and recycle this one or put away for "parts" - LOL. Sigh. Heavy sigh. I'm usally the guy who never has issues with his synths. But wow, this one has my karma crushed! #KARMACRUSHED

luckily Sweetwater is going to cross ship me a third unit and check prior to shipment. whew!
