There is a different sound when pressing left side loop control, but the controller looks ok overall. When pressing loop on left side sometimes it won't respond. That does not happens on the right side looping control.
The same thing happened to me, I bought it right when it came out, and an encoder was not precise and failed to loop. I returned it to the store and they exchanged it for me.
Same here, the sound (click) is inconsistant across all encoders in my unit.
Hewever the input work fine. Did you try puting the unit into it's midi mode and try mapping a different midi capable app to test it out?
