I hear ya, I just picked up a used Novation SL61 MKIII for the same reason. My S88Mk3 sits lonely. Their chief product officer promised the templates by the end of June, didn’t happen. Maybe he doesn’t care how bad this makes him look. As a software developer, I can only assume they can’t release new firmware without bricking devices. Don’t be surprised if new devices come with updates in place that aren’t possible with our keyboards. Obviously the release of the new Traktor has eaten up all development time.

Yes! The Novation SL61 MKIII is perfect!, the problem, at least for me, is the tipe key (keybed? Sorry for my English). As much as many repeat that it is in beta (Midi templates), the truth is that it never happens.

Sorry, of course!! I take it into account, but hearing this since April, so I don't believe anything anymore. I don't know how to write this expression in English, I'll say it in my language: "ojalá me tenga que tragar mis palabras!", but in a short time. Sorry again, and thanks for your update :-)

Traktor is a separate team. Unrelated to Kontrol.
The release candidate build for MIDI Templates was delivered to beta on Friday. Things are in good shape, and we'll see what final touch ups beta require, and would ship no less than 1.5 weeks from now.

The truth is that it is in beta with a large number of users testing it, providing feedback, and we're continuously iterating on that feedback.

Thanks Matthew, but understand as others have pointed out, we've been hearing things like this since April.
Now I have to figure out why I can no longer log into Native Access (on multiple Macs) since posting that message…

Ok, I'm going to try to be positive and believe that this time it's for real! I don't even own the Mk361, but as soon as the new update comes out, I'll buy it for sure, because I need it to complete my setup, and I need it now!I, just need the midi parts to work as expected.

As far as midi template goes.. I hope this isn't the only testing being done.. I hope bug fixes and adding sub banks for searching and alot more. Definitely trying to be positive but it's really looking like 2025 before the software is even ready..

Bringing back the left side browser….
All user feedback that has not been taken on-board just as a counter example.
