Issues connecting Kontrol S2 on new laptop (Win 11)

So my com can see the controller, Traktor can see it as well, but is it totally unresponsive. All drivers and firmware are current (as ancient as they might be :P )

I am using an older version of Traktor (2.11) which I realize might be the problem, but I don't want to update to 3.0 if I wind up with the same problem.

Anythoughts? And thanks ahead of time!

    The original s2 (mk1?)

I think it should work under Windows 11 and I think Traktor 2 Pro should also work with it.

When you move anything, do you get a midi signal indicator lighting up?

On 3 Pro it's here, not sure if 2 has it

I have the same issue. Only USB light is on and it is orange. Nothing else is lit or can control anything. Traktor pro 2 (and 3 demo version) does not recognise kontrol s2 at all.

I have updated drivers and firmware but no luck at all. I have also reinstalled traktor pro after updating drivers.

At least official Windows compatibility site claims support only for current products on Windows 11.

Traktor Pro 2 and Kontrol S2 Mk1 aren't aren't supported on Windows 11 by NI. Doesn't mean it won't work but if on your own risk.
