X1MK3 enhancements

Hi.

This is addressed to the product team.

I think the biggest omission in the X1MK3 is the inability to control the Filter knobs. Many people here suggested overmapping as a solution, but I am not adept at tweaking the functions of the controller. (I agree that I should learn). But it seems to me that there is an obvious opportunity to add a third mode/panel (and a fourth, etc.) to the controller. Just as it is possible to switch between Mixer mode and Effects mode, it should be possible to add a third overlay (call it Extended or whatever you want), to assign different tasks to the knobs. For example, the fourth knobs from the top could be the Filter knobs (L & R), the third one from the top could be for Key changes, the second one for Pan, and the top one for Gain.

And once real time stem separation becomes available, you could create a fourth overlay (Stems) in which the knobs can be used to control stems volume and be used as toggles for turning a stem on/off.

I would actually be willing to pay for those enhancements.

The production team doesn't read the forum posts. If you want them to implement something, you first need to show that a lot of people want this. The way to do it (for now) is to post it here:

Make the suggestion as clear and simple as possible and hope you are hitting a nerve and people vote for the idea. If enough votes are gathered, the community managers will pass it on. 🦋

P.S. I made a qml-mod (link in my signature) that addresses a few of your concerns already (inlcuding gain and filter control). You should give it a try.
