How to link to link to Ableton lite

I've watched a million videos and nothing. It's been a week and I can't get help from N.I. All I want to do is start making beats and it's impossible. I believe I followed the instructions but nothing.

    Why dont you start by saying what are the two things you want to Link, one Ableton and the other is ... ? It can't be KK as it's a plugin so doesn't need Link... Or do you for some reason want to use the KK standalone application liked to Ableton? If so, why? KK has no Link.

    If it's something else then are those 2 things on the same computer? Same wifi or network?

    Thanks for your reply. When I say link I mean I can't hear the KK as a plug-in. I searched about another 10 videos and think I found one that works. Thanks for taking your time to help me out I truly appreciate it.
