Hi,

I'm trying to save preset instrument as efficiently as possible (thinking of creating a script for that purpose).

In stead of using mouse -) file - Save as... I can see the shortcut listed in the menu :

CTRL + SHIFT + S

However, it's not working for me in Komplete nor in kontakt. In maschine, it works but it's the save project as that gets triggered. I'm trying to save instrument preset.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks

    KK version?

The shortcut doesn't work if the plugin is in focus, which it always will be. You have to actually click the KK logo (or a preset/tag or something on the actual KK window) for it to work. Yes, this makes a keyboard shortcut useless, however this issue will never be resolved.

Hello Jester, thanks for taking the time to reply!

    I'm in 3.1.1 in KK.

When you mean the logo, you mean where the credits window open? If so, shortcut doesnt work neither for me while the credits are open and KK is unfocused

I ment click next to the logo, of course the save option wont happen when the credit window is open.

There are 2 layers to the KK window, KK itself and a plugin. If you load a plugin then the plugin is in-focus so keyboard presses go tot he plugin not to the KK window. This is because some plugins have keyboard shortcut features so to avoid KK "stealing" shortcuts that are the same, it puts the plugin in-focus.

Clicking ANY part of the KK window will select it back in focus. If that still does not work, add that as just another KKV3 bug.

EDIT : somehow today it's working when the credit window is opened (via the logo) !
