Specific Programing Advice

Greetings,

In Kontakt, I currently have an 8 bar hi hat pattern that I'm triggering with an external MIDI drum pad. Each drum pad is assigned to a different MIDI note. I've activated the grid, BPM and defined the zone length in the Sync/Slice section of the Wave Editor.

1) For the bulk of the song, only the first 4 bars of the sample (looped) will be used. I'd like to hit one pad to begin looping only bars 1-4. I've defined loop beginning and end in the wave editor/Sample Loop section. When I use the play button at the top of the wave editor, the pattern loops as predicted. But when I trigger the pattern using my external controller the entirety of the sample plays before looping. Any advice on how to fix?

2) When I hit the pad to trigger the 4 bar loop, I'd like it to run indefinitely until I hit the same pad again. How do I program this?

3) While the 4 bar loop is infinitely running, is there a way I can assign another pad to mute the loop for a predetermined amount of time, say 1 bar?

4) Is there a way another pad could mute the loop while the pad is depressed, and when I let up on the pad, the loop is instantly unmuted?

5) The last 2 beats (quarter notes) of the 8 bar sample is a fill. I'd like to assign another pad to trigger playing only the last 2 beats and then to automatically go back to playing the 4 bar loop at the beginning of the sample. This would ideally happen without having to re-trigger the pad that begins the playing of the 4 bar loop (question 1), but is just automatically resumed at the end of the 2 bar fill.

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer.
