Yeah the video makes it clear that problem is as I have said; you are trying to automate the Omnisphere knob directly. It needs to be assigned to a Komplete Kontrol knob first because, since Komplete Kontrol is acting as a subhost, what Logic 'see's' in terms of what can be picked up by the automation latch mode is unassigned Komplete Kontrol params, not Omnisphere params. This is where one of the pre mapped templates from Freelance could help, or you can do it yourself in a few minutes eg - very quick and dirty video of how to do this from scratch:

Omnisphere has potentially hundreds of automatable params, but you have to set them up first in the plugin by right clicking on a knob, selecting Enable Host Automation, and adding it to the automatable params list. Best to do this in logical order of the params you want to have most accessible.
Otherwise use one of the prebuilt NKS libraries for it from https://www.freelancesoundlabs.com/
Have you mapped them to Komplete Kontrol knobs?
What's not working - mapping them to KK controls?
Try one of the demo NKS templates from https://www.freelancesoundlabs.com/ - they should work
Have you set automation record to touch or latch mode?
Anyone else? This issue is still unresolved.
Without being able to see what you are doing it's hard to know what is going wrong because provided you have setup automated params in Omnisphere, mapped them to KK controls and set automation to a write mode, this should work and certainly does work for me in Logic. Nor have I come across anyone identifying a bug with Omnsiphere automation in KK. Have you tried one of the Freelance templates that are already setup with mappings as I suggested? You can download a demo for free.
Maybe it is a Logic issue tho Kymeia is pretty experienced on that front and if he has no real idea of an issue, would say it is something you are doing.
I am an Ableton user and I use the NKS library I created for Omnisphere and that works as expected. As long as the control is set as "Host Automatable" in Omnisphere and then mapped as a control in KK, pressing Record on the track will capture the automation as excpected. Usually the only reason it wouldn't would be the control is not enabled for HA or not mapped in KK itself. Would need screenshots or videos or something.
Yeah I have used this many times in Logic, it works for me and I have not heard of it not working for anyone else
Yes a video showing the steps involved leading up to the problem might be useful
I appreciate the help on this guys. I’m a 12 year Logic user myself, so by no means am I a newb…This is the first time I’ve ever had an issue like this also. I’ll look into the NKS library that you both are suggesting. I’ll also make a video when I get home which will probably make this a lot easier.
Hey guys. Sorry for the delay. Here's a video and thanks so much for the help.
