Ashlight and Scan sync function

Hi, the Ashlight manual refers to a "scan sync" function inside the "grain page", but I am absolutely unable to find that function.
Does this function not exist actually, or am I missing something ?

    Ok, no need to bother, I have found out myself, it's the small "note"-symbol to the right of the "scan" knob. When it's deactivated, it's greyed out and very easy to unsee ! 😅
