NI DEVELOPERS - Please remove Commercial Adds from KONTAKT

Let's imagine you go to the store and purchase a book or video. You paid full price for it. You go home you play it and every 3 minutes the commercial add pops up on the screen and asks you to buy another video. You flip a page in a book and there is an entire page asking you to come back and purchase another book. ABSOLUTE CRAZINESS ! I am sure you would never buy one ever again (from this place or vendor).


I do not know about you (users) but I have seen many people raging about the latest KONTAKT 7, pushing the plugins and products through our throats. There has been several posts and discussions about that on the forum and elsewhere. I do not see however any change or even positive reaction from NI.

We really need to resist such a commecrial propaganda !

    Just turn them off, it's a setting in options

    They added the option to turn it off months ago, that counts as a change and certainly is a positive reaction, you can't have looked hard

    Thanks for replying.

    I am using v7.7.3 and I do not see any setting for this. What is your version ?

    I'm on 7.8 but it was added in 7.7.1 last November - NI responded to feedback on this very soon after it was added

    Note that this setting is only available in the full version of Kontakt, not Player. IIRC.

    Or, so I thought... but it's there. Please disregard my post ^^
