Several copies of multiple groups and sounds

Hello to all!

I rarely use maschine 2 sw because I play with M+ most of the time. Because 2.15 was released (updated and downdated) I noticed something in the browser, which has been there before the boomerang updating.

When browsing groups and kits I noticed I have several doubles or triplets of the same groups or kits and it’s the same in one shots and so on.

Why is it like that? How can I remove duplicates?

I have a maschine mk2, a maschine+, a maschine jam and an m32. Could it be bcs of the multiple licenses?

I think part of it is some libraries are subsets of others, so you get some duplicates that way. From memory I had to lose some with the word 'essentials' in the name where I'd installed the full library later.

As Tony said it's probably due to your other licenses, the M32 might come with smaller versions of main libraries, specifically:

• Maschine 2 Factory Selection.
• Kontakt Factory Selection.

Remove those and check if it fixes it.

It's a bit of a PITA to uninstall any NI product on MacOS... You need a shovel, compass, and decrypt an encoded treasure map while doing a headstand 😂🤷‍♂️:

Deleting the .plist is what matters to make NA think the product is already uninstalled, that + deleting the lib should work.
