Can Drumlab midi be used?

Hello everyone,

is it possible to drag and drop the midi shown in Drumlab to a Maschine VST (running in a DAW)? So I can use the Midi Grooves.

Yes, click and hold the 4 way arrow next to the groove name at the top right of Drumlab and drag into a sound slot in Keyboard Mode... Based on the way "Instruments" work and how MIDI is modified when imported into a pattern in Pad mode you will get undesirable results.

Dang, you can get drumlab working? And it doesn't corrupt your project files? Tell me your secrets!

No secret, I tested in Ableton 11 but I did not save and try to reload the project.

loaded Ableton, loaded Maschine VST in Ableton, then loaded Kontakt in Maschine.

what Daw are you using, I see you are on Mac, I am sorry on Windows.

What do you mean by corrupted? I don't have any problems with that luckily.

I'm testing Presonus Studio One 5 these days. It's quite nice and intuitive. I had Ableton 8 years ago. I love Live for the design. But now I want to try the current versions of Cubase (waiting for the V12 Demo to be released) and then I'll decide between Studio One, Live 11 and Cubase. As I'm no advanced user I'm so grateful for this community! Thank you guys 🎛️

Ah yes since this year I'm on a Mac Mini. Tiny machine instead of my tower PC 😎

I got an email the other day from Steinberg stating that since I had Cubase LE 4 license that I got with an audio interface I bought back in the day that I qualified for an LE 12 upgrade for free, and I am really liking it… the new Midi Remote thing is awesome, have my MK3 all mapped to control all kinds of functions… and I did see on the Steinberg website that a demo is now available… so you might want check that out.
