How do you record and save samples for retrieval and playback?
Playing with creating and using samples on the fly to mix in with a current running tune using S4MK3. I created a cool mix recording with 4 samples and was able to easily restart it after stopping. How do I save the recorded sample mix? I was able to save the 4 samples I used as a new remix sample, but not the recording. Thanks.

Makes total sense. Sorry to say the recorded sequence can't be saved. Along 4 beats there are 16 steps (quarter beats). You have to memorize it yourself and make a note on a piece of paper or something. No way to do it automatically.

The recording is saved automatically when you use the Audio Recorder.
It is saved in the location you chose in Preferences --> Mix Recorder
Note: in the above example it is my location, not the default one.

Are you talking about the loop recorder?

Could also be the step sequencer, since the S4MK3 has a 'record' button, which temporarily memorizes the sequencer steps.

Hello. I am talking about and trying to use the record button next to the samples button on the s4 mk3. This record button does allow for temporarily saving my tapped creation sample loop and playing back like a loop. But once I leave the deck my creation is gone. I want to save this loop and play it back next time I play the tune I created it for. Hope that makes sense.
