How do you route the output channels in session percussion

Here is how you do it.

First, you need to close the Session percussionist, then click on the View, then Outputs, create 5 separate outputs, then open Session Percussionist again, then click on the mixer, then click on the Main button.

That instrument doesn't show the names of the outputs, it only says Out 1, Out 2, depends on how many output channels you have.

    Here is a screenshot.

Let me know if it helped or if you need more info.

It appears that routing the output is not saved. Everytime I change a preset, the outputs are back on "main". Anybody experiencing the same problem or maybe even know the anwer? I'm using an M1 mac.
    Cheers!

    That is strange...

    Which DAW do you use?

And btw, could you please screenshot the issue, Koekhapper?

I'm using Logic Pro X and just upgraded to the newest (10.8). I can send screenshots later this week, not in right now. Thanks a lot by the way

    Sure thing.

Because when I saw your previous comment here today, I experimented with saving a custom Session Percussionist sample with custom outputs, and when I loaded the sample, everything was okay.

Maybe you need to give your sample a name or something?

Either that, or it is an OS or a DAW issue?

    Just my speculations.

So this is my routing, but if I change the preset in the left corner from "Shift me" to, for instance "Small Combo", the routing is gone and all faders go to MAIN (see next screenshot)

Hmm...maybe I don't know how to solve this one...

For my DAW (Cakewalk), I had no issues with saving custom presets for Percussionist.

Like you said, maybe it's the DAW/M1. But it is quite strange. Just now I made a snap shot template, which brings me back to my routing. But still I can't scroll through the preset without loosing the routing. Tried to lock the mixer, but it does not help...

@Koekhapper Have you followed these steps? How to Route KONTAKT to Multiple Outputs in Logic Pro X

Also make sure that both Kontakt and Logic have full disk access: How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS
