Kontakt 7: Any way to add presets to Quick Load if there's only a single .nki?

Hi folks!

I'm trying to get serious about my preset organization. I'm going through my library and favouriting as I go, but I'd love a more granular way of organizing than favourites and the baked in Character/Sound Type tags. (A star rating system would be perfect!)

It feels like Quick Load is the answer, but for example, Straylight, only appears as an individual .nki in the rack view.

I'm not sure if it's possible to get the presets (as seen below) into the Quick Load section, and if so, how it works.

Any insight or points to the right spots in documentation would be much appreciated! Thanks, all!

Yeah I have always preferred 5 star systems but it seems everyone these days has moved to the dumbed down binary version

Unfortunately Quickload doesn't work for snapshots, this is where the new browser does better

@Kymeia Ah, for shame, but I thought as much. Do you have any recommendations on more granular tagging?

Really, a star rating (and if I'm being extra, colours) would do wonders. This binary favourite/non-favourite is a bit limiting.

Woof. Hopefully a change later. Thanks for your time on this!

I think the problem is the binary state works better with the keyboard as NI can assign favouriting to one hardware button so I doubt that will change, maybe you could create custom tags to get better organisation?

Good thoughts, I was thinking of that too, but it seems like that metadata is locked down.
