Hi folks

I just recently start to use K7, and when i select for example K6 factory library > Orchestral, in K7 i see only mixed in single bunch all the instruments that are contained in this (orchestal) category, while in K6 there are also subfolders (Woodwinds, Brass etc), and you able to select instruments from a certain category. That was very convenient.

(See attached screenshot)

So, how to enable subfolders displaying in K7 ? It is possible ? Sorry maybe i miss something.

If you want to open that old Rack view on K7, it's incredibly simple.

Unclick the Library button so that it can be grey.

The go to the View, then check to see if the Side Pane is checked.

If it is, you should be able to see all the libraries on the left side of the Rack view.

Let me know if you need more info.

I am affraid the new Library mode doesn't have the feature.

However, you can still use the OG Rack View with K7 and you can see the subfolders there!

    Speaking from experience.

If you don't know how to open the OG rack view on K7, just let me know.

We say it like that because it is a typical Rack View that was there since K1.

Basically a view that on the right side, you see the whole instrument and its settings, where as for the left pane, or Side Pane, you see all the libraries that you can choose from.

K7 has that new Library look, but it also kept the old, or as we like to call it, OG Rack View.

On the left side of your image is that OG View that was used from K1 to K6.

K7 has 2 views: the new view that you can see on your right side of your image, and the old Rack view.

It is a Gen Z saying for something old and original, or old school.

I know, it doesn't make sense.
