Komplete Kontrol 3 Long Load Time and Crashing

Why does this KK plugin now crash and stall constantly. Also, WHY does it take so long to scan plug-ins when loading stand alone. Can’t this be sped up or circumvented. It is very annoying how long it takes. I don’t understand why this software has been basically the same for the last several years, but breaks every time it gets updated.

If you dont have a MK3 keyboard, try revert back to V2 software and see if that is better, usually is.

Windows 11; Ableton 11 Suite. 64gb ram. Everything else works fine and fast except Native Instruments stuff, which is always a problem. Anytime I shut the KK window, Ableton crashes. So, I have to leave it open all the time. Does it even matter what my setup is? This is the way things are with this company and always have been. I am so annoyed. I am just not going to use their plug ins anymore because they can’t get it together, which bothers me because I spent so much money on them. Why is it Roland can roll their platform over time and again all while reproducing all their classic instruments to literal perfection while NI can’t even pull off one clean update. Is there even any new functionality in this update? It seems to just do the same exact things as previously, but way worse. Nice going.

I am not doing that. I am going to buy a Roland Fantom keyboard and just record my audio through a mixer. This software has been nothing but trouble, and I am not going to go through this anymore with these companies trying to force obsolescence in order to sell their products. I should have done this to begin with.

I also have this exact problem. It does it in Reaper too, and sometimes will do it with the keyboard disconnected, sometimes it won't. I'm trying to pinpoint the cause to send a good report to NI but I'm having trouble reliably recreating it. Unless I try to make music ☺

Same here. @Matthew_NI stated in another thread to another user with the same problem that this an unique case, but obviously it is not. KK 2.9.6 solved the problem for me.
