Problems loading saved Ableton projects with KONTROL S61 MK3

If I save a project that uses the Komplete Kontrol VST or Kontakt 7, when I open the project back up, the KONTROL S61 MK3 will be stuck in DAW mode. The only way to get it working is to delete the Komplete Kontrol VST or Kontakt 7 and reload it, then my settings are lost.

Ideally I would like to open a project or template with several Kontakt instruments on multiple tracks, but I have to start from scratch every time I open a project using this keyboard.

How can I fix this?

After upgrading to 64GB RAM, everything is working as expected. You probably shouldn't need that much if you have this problem. But 64 was recommended for the audio-dropouts I was having with East/West plugins

@wackafash We didn't get such reports yet. Can you tell us what is your operating system? Where do you save the project? Does it make a difference if you save the project on another location?

My projects are saved in "My Documents." I just tried creating new projects and saving them to my Desktop as well as an external hard drive and got the same problem opening those projects in both locations.

My specs are:

Windows 10 Home edition Version 22H2

OS build 19045.3930

AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor 3.40 GHz

RAM: 16.0 GB

64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Everything seems to work fine if I change the control surface in Ableton from "Komplete Kontrol S MK3" to "Komplete Kontrol A."

I hope that suffices and that I'm not missing out on any MK3 features. If someone can let me know if there is any difference, that would be appreciated

Is everything functional in Komplete Kontrol or Kontakt in standalone?

Make sure you are running these programs as admin: Komplete Kontrol, Kontakt, Ableton and Hardware Connection Service: How to Run a Program as an Administrator

@Jeremy_NI Those are the instructions I followed specific to Ableton 11 in Windows. They do not work for me if I have the control surface set to "Komplete Kontrol S MK3" like in the instructions. I have to switch it to Komplete Kontrol A instead.
