Kontakt 7 Library search not working -

Hi. This is my first post. Thank you in advance for help.

Firstly, I am aware that my problem may be a quick mouse click or simple, but i am running out of options...


The problems started two days after purchasing a new (out of the box) Kontrol S61 MK3. I updated the firmsare, and wathced (twice) Brian Kullas' Komplete Kontrol MK3 tutorial

My Konakt Browser Library does not allow me to search. When I click "Library", I used to have a listing of all types of Sound Types and Characters. Now, it is blank, with the message in the front and center saying "No results found". "Please try a new search, or a different combination of others". I clikced the "New Search" box, with no response.


I am running macbook pro, Apple M2 - Monterey


Running Protools 12.09


Again, my first post, so I am unaware of additional information one may need. Also, perhaps this problem has been posted elsewhere many times? I don't know. Thank you thank you. Mike

    Further invormation:

    I removed the application support from the hiddden library in the mac folder

    I opened stand-alone Kontakt and re-booted

    I re-installed Kontakt 7

    I am able to access my plugins, but I the search brower does not work

    Me again. I have also granted full disk access to Kontakt, Native Access, NKTDaemon

    Click on the little person icon next to the search bar, I think you may be looking in user not factory

    No problem it was worth a try, I have seen people do that, the icon is just so indistinct
