I know a date won't be given but is MPE a thing

Hello love the forum new here I was wondering since we have 3.1 out and I do like what mk3 brings, my question since the redesign will MPE be introduced early this year..

    If you want MPE, you need an MPE controller (which MK3 is not)

    So be ready to buy an eventual MK4…

    Thank you for your reply.. but isn't the new controller supposed to implement new and current technology which the cost doubled for the same functions .. the software should dictate the change yes after touch witch has been around for years but MPE it should be something with mk3

    MK3 has aftertouch strips and is midi 2.0 compatible, but not MPE

    I think MPE is planned though, although as it's a traditional keyboard format it might be there are some aspects it can't do as well as say a Seaboard or Osmose (eg slides)

    To get MPE you need an MPE controller in addition to MPE compliant software. Roli has MPE controllers and software and some others do as well I believe. Mk3's added Polyphonic aftertouch. The mk1's and mk2's only had Aftertouch
