The program does not work with my VOX VT20X
Hi, I have a VOX VT20X and I want to use the guitar rig 7 program. Apparently this amp has a USB input to use it without the need for an interface. I already installed the latest drivers and restarted the PC when I select Asio driver and technology for the VOX 2ch Audio device. In the configuration it does not work in the inputs and outputs it appears that I have nothing connected, could someone help me?

FYI Guitar rig needs an audio interface with an input and an output. I don't think the VOX VT20X qualifies.

Could you please elaborate?

Do you have any other music software that uses ASIO you can check it with? Also, check that Windows hasn't grabbed the audio device for system output. Some interfaces don't like it when that happens.

I have toneroom which is the official vox program I also had amplitube to see if it worked but I uninstalled it and checked several times in the settings and windows takes the amplifier in the other devices category so I checked the control panel and the amp appears as sound and video gaming device

Did it work in Amplitude using the ASIO driver?

Maybe install Amplitude again and see if the interface works with that. That way you can see if the problem is with Guitar Rig or if it's a more general driver problem.

ok - That's pointing the problem more towards the drivers for the VT20X rather than just Guitar Rig. Your best bet is probably to see if there's a dedicated Vox forums, or at least a forum with active Vox users.
