Hello and seasons greetings

Quick question please.

Have purchased a software instrument update pack(Ireland) without knowing that I didn't have enough space to perform the download. Have 90gb available but only 14gb showing on disk utility volume. If I temporarily remove my plugins folder(40gb) I should have space to download but will I have any issues returning the Plugins folder or any other folder to its present location? The instrument pack is about 11gb so am assuming that will come off the 90gb.

Do you have a spare external drive you can connect? If so you could change the download location in Native Access to that drive which might give you enough space to do the download and install. Don't forget to change it back afterwards!

Thanks for the reply and further reading.

Yes to the external drive but only use along with iCloud for backup. It’s more a case of checking whether temporary moving a plugins folder could cause an issue and would give enough Gb’s on the disk utility volume.
