Midi Learn or Not So Much

So many Kontakt libraries have the same array of control knobs across the bottom that I thought I'd just assign knobs on my Artutia Essential 49 keyboard to control them. I set them up with MIDI Learn, and they work great, but I can't figure out how to save the assignments. Maybe they aren't supposed to be saved. Is this some esoteric lesson on the shifting sands of existence? Maybe it's a user error. Help, please.

    @TwoDogs You can only save MIDI assignments per library/instrument and not for all Kontakt libraries.

    @TwoDogs You need to save the Kontakt instrument once you have edited the MIDI assignments and recall your user preset.

    There wasn't an answer in the support area regarding saving CC assignments so that the next time I open Kontakt, it loads those assignments.
