Kontakt 7 India Harmonium Mixer Not Functional

In Reaper v7, the instrument mixer in one of the instances of the VST3 India Harmonium has stopped working. There is sound, but the Harmonium, Drone, Reverb, and Master sliders do nothing. All were working and have been working for a week in this project.

Today, all four sliders pulled all the way down and there is still output. Mute and solo buttons have no effects as well. Pan and it stays centered. As far as I can tell, the output gains are the default levels. Also, as far as I can tell, everything else is working fine.

There are 13 instances of Kontakt 7 VST3s in the project. There are no obvious resource issues, CPU or RAM.

The machine as an HP Envy 17 laptop with Windows 11 (yeah, I know), Intel CPU, 64G RAM, Reaper v7, Realtek onboard audio (yeah, I know). Windows 11 is an upgrade from Windows 10 last weekend. This project is spanning both OSes. So far so good, in the big scheme of things.

Is there a simple reset that will get this going again? I have not removed this VST from the project and put it back in, but to me that's a workaround that may be avoiding the problem instead of fixing it, depending on what it is of course.

I'm wondering if there's a setting I may have clicked that is bypassing the instrument mixer. Kontakt is new to me and I'm just learning about all it does.

I have figured out how to add multiple instruments and effects. All good. New stuff, you know. RTFM and all that. I still don't have a clue how I had two instruments in that rack, but that's a moot point.

I have the answer as to why there was Harmonium sound with the faders pulled down. It's simple, but HOW it got this way is a definitely a newbie issue.

There were two instances of the harmonium in the rack. The view was in single view, but even when switched to rack view, I could see only top instance. When I collapsed the rack view both were visible. AHA! Delete the stray instance and all is good. It's also hard to hear something like this when there are two instances of the same instrument playing the same thing.

QUESTION!!! How did I do this? How are more instruments added to the rack? This is all very new and I have a lot to learn. This is something I definitely want to get a good handle on.

Sorry for the NOW silly post.

    Thanks!
