Looking for a spec for powered USB that works!

Seems to be a common issue but a rare answer.
I have tried a USB-C to USB-A adaptor and also a powered USB hub, but can't seem to find the right voltage.
Can anyone offer link or list a spec that can solve this problem?
I am currently using a 2013 MacBook and limping through with great frustration.

All of those are USB2 so you could use a decent powered USB2 hub. I have a couple of D-Link hubs on my system and they're rock solid. You'd need a USB-C to USB-B cable to use unless your Mac has a USB-A port. This is a link to the hub I have on Amazon - D-Link DUB-H7/B 7-Port USB 2.0 Hub - UK Version : Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories. Might be worth a try and if it doesn't work you've got until the end of Jan to return it.

I gather that your question is regarding the Traktor Kontrol S3.
As far as I can see then there are no official recommendations. There are some advice with respect to the use of hubs and cables for the S-Series MK3 keyboard that might contain info of interest but otherwise then maybe you need to know what other people are using and what works for them and I alas do not have a Traktor Kontrol device myself !
but you could ask the dedicated Traktor Support which is here !

i have had my share of issues with usb hub, so now i plug all audio interface directly to my computer, using a usb-C to usb-B connector like that one and have not had issues since then: www.amazon.nl/UGREEN-Printer-Aluminium-Omhulsel-Gevlochten/dp/B086ZGKYH8/

@SKINNAHMAN I'm very confused here. What are you actually asking?
What do you mean by "powered USB"? USB includes 5v power, so is "powered" already.
Seems to be a common issue
What does?
I have tried a USB-C to USB-A adaptor and also a powered USB hub
Tried them how? With what? To do what?
but can't seem to find the right voltage.
The right voltage for what?
solve this problem?
Solve what problem?
limping through with great frustration.
I know what that feels like 🙄

I could not find the one that works with 2014 mac... Each one would disable my WiFi and it turned out mac has limited memory bendwith. Could not get it to work at all.
Not sure if the same issue but could help someone.

What kind of "adaptor"? Adapting what to what?
To use with all devices...... What devices? Use how?
Please try to provide some information about what you're looking for, so that people can help.

To me there appear to be no really good dedicated USB-C hubs for general use to point to because they tends to most to be in category 'docking stations' . But since you also are looking for USB-A then check this out (if you want to attach USB-C units then use A to C adapter) :
StarTech.com 7-Port Self-Powered USB-C Hub with Individual On/Off Switches, USB 3.0 5Gbps Expansion Hub w/Power Supply , At Startech site for better description ! (all seven ports on this USB hub to support BC 1.2, providing 1.5A (7.5W) of power simultaneously (52.5W total))
Startech also makes this but that is even more expensive : StarTech.com 10-Port USB-C Hub - 8x USB-A/2x USB-C - Self-Powered w/65W Power Supply - USB 3.1 10Gbps , At the Startech site for better description ! The hub features two USB BC 1.2 ports (1x USB-A, 1x USB-C), each providing 2.4A (12W) (seven USB-A, and one USB-C port that each provide the USB 3.2 standard of 0.9A (4.5W) of power.)
Startech is far from the cheapest but they also makes e.g. serial Sata controllers and appears as being a reliable brand in the 'economy class'.. There are also many cheaper offerings such as those from e.g. Sabrent but while I have owned Startech controller products then I have never owned a Sabrent product ! Anyway , any choice and purchase are made solely on your own responsibility and the above should nor be seen as endorsements as such but as information about what is out there !
