Hi everyone :)

I'm looking for a solution with traktor's controller manager to send midi chanel 9 cc 1 to 85 randomly, when I push a button in my traktor D2.

Now, the solution I've already found is with 2 modifers :

Midi 1 out : ch9 cc1 - modifier 1 = 0 - modifier 2 =0

Midi 1 out : ch9 cc2 - modifier 1 = 0 - modifier 2 =1

Midi 1 out : ch9 cc3 - modifier 1 = 0 - modifier 2 =2

....

Midi 1 out : ch9 cc64 - modifier 1 = 7 - modifier 2 =7

But my problems are :

  • With only 2 modifiers conditions, I 've only 64 differents cc, and not 85. (If only traktor have 3 modifiers condition...)
  • And the most important I don't kown how I can do that is put to modifier 1 and 2 a random value.

Does anyone have a solution for that? :)

Thank a lot.

I don't think that's possible with just Traktor.

As far as I can tell, there's simply no random function, and in addition, there's no method I know to change the device (which CC) for a mapping except manually through the controller manager.

You might have a chance with some kind of MIDI processor that can receive a simple trigger from the D2 and implement the complex behavior on its own - something like Bome MIDI Translator.

Bomes MT can definitely do this.
