How To Pay With Voucher (Full Prices) Whilst Sale Is On?

I'd like to buy a couple of items with some vouchers I have, but when I go to pay (for Transient Master) it says vouchers are not accepted for sale items. So how can I pay full price with the voucher? Otherwise it looks like I have to wait 5 weeks to use the voucher. Thanks.

Basically vouchers are seldom useful because they cannot apply to anything other than full proceed software and expansions (no hardware, no sale items, no 3rd party items)

Likely if you want to use it, you will have to wait until the current sale is over or directly contact the sales department who may be able to issue you a direct invoice.

Thanks for the reply. It seems they are virtually useless yes and just a way to entice the naive. I asked sales will they charge me full price so I can buy a plug in but they said no. Vouchers only last for 6 months too, and this sale is on for 3 months or so in total? That's a lot of vouchers expired!

I have this issue too. Can't get an item that's $70 full price with my $70 voucher, because it's on sale.

They got to be kidding me with this. This is a joke, right?

Not a joke at all. While Sales season is on, products costs even half their original price!

So, asking for a discount (voucher) on a product that is already offered at half price is rather ungrateful I would say. What else? Should we bring you a goose to lay golden eggs?

Just keep your voucher for 2-3 more weeks and use it then.

In most cases, one gets better price on discounted items, than on full price and using voucher....

But if one has a voucher of bigger value, he may wait till there is no Sale and use it. This Sale will end within few weeks.

This is the stupidity that I'm ranting about.

Read this really slowly: The voucher covers the cost of the item at full price, NOT the sale price.

The item is $70 full price. My voucher is $70. It's currently on sale at half price, but the $70 voucher doesn't work because the system isn't set up to allow the sale at all, regardless of the value of the voucher. I got locked out of using the voucher for the duration of the sale because other people can buy it for half price. Brilliant.

Get your head out of your backside.

The only stupidity i see here, is not by Native Instruments.

What is this item that costs 70$? There is no such full price, $70 is the already reduced price.

Or tell us which is this software and provide a link!

Then, put your backside in your head (if there is any space there) and go in the corner to see if i'm coming, smarty!

Can you take your peaceful protest somewhere else?

Supercharger GT, Replika XT, Modpack, Crushpack, The Finger and The Mouth are all $70 full price.

If you learnt to read like has already been suggested to you, you'd see you are making a fool of yourself.

    Ok...

Can someone explain to me what happened here?

    @NI.User

You are right, that NI could setup system so that one may choose full price, instead of discounted. In theory. But, do you know any e-shop that has such a capability? How many users do you think need such a feature?

Waiting few weeks does not hurt that much....

Or try NI Sale Support, they might sort it out and fullfil your "special request".

Again, another person who can't read. N.I. said NO. Hardly a "special request", a common sense feature, why offer vouchers that you cant spend? Anyway there is nothing productive here for me, go and peaceful protest elsewhere :)

You have a big mouth for a newcomer and with such attitude i don't see that you will have a future in the forum. First thing we practice here, is to respect. You are not talking to your "buddies".

Especially Kubrak have a very long history in the forum, a great reputation and a lot of expertness. You, on the other hand, do not have any of those, neither you have offered anything on the forum. So, behave!

All those products you mentioned, just a while ago (1-2 months?) costed 99 euro, and based on this i wrote what i wrote. I didn't check yesterday, indeed, my only mistake.

Nonetheless, still my first comment apply. I find such "demands" rather ungrateful. And by the way, this is a kind of a rule on most e-shops. Vouchers do not apply on discounts. Take it or leave it.

I don't know why I'm so angry about this.

But telling me I'm ungrateful while I'm just trying to rant about something bad, ticks me off.

The way I see it is while the sale is on I am getting a price I would have got anyway if I was using the voucher (or even less) so I can get what I want for a good price and still keep the voucher for when prices are back to normal and then get something else for a lower price as well.

Dude, in my way of viewing things and perception of reality, things are really simple and open-minded without needs for the usual silly human ego. So, based on that philosophy i will simplify things, in one sentence:

They offer you a discount and instead of been grateful for this, you ask for more!

    It is that simple.

If you don't like this deal, just wait 2 weeks and buy what you want by using your voucher.

    It is too, that simple!

It is pure logic and i can't make it even simpler. If you can't understand this, then we both lost our time here.

    Good luck anyway.
