Kontakt 6.8.0 fresh update - Error Code: your Kontakt ist too old, please update....

Hi there,

i updated Kontakt and wanted to load Choir Omina from Komplete 14 Collector

and it says:

"Your version of Kontakt is too old, please update to the latest version"

I have 6.8.0 - fresh updated

what can I do ?

Yeah, Choir: Omnia requires Kontakt 7, it won't work in Kontakt 6.

KONTAKT 7 is in my native access but when I use Piano Noire or Una Corda this message appears Error Code: your Kontakt ist too old, please update....

I can't use those instruments anymore in Komplete

I didn't have this problem when I use Kontakt 6....

Hi I just had this experience myself. There are two solutions to this.

Go into your Kontakt preferences and check the box that states to use the latest version of Kontakt or
Delete Kontakt 6 completely off of your computer and then restart the computer. There is a video on YouTube from N.I that shows this method (it won’t let me post it here) to just do a search 👀.
