Activate 16 midi channels on Komplete
Good morning,
I would like to order a multitimbral synth on 2 different midi channels with the komplete on Ableton. I can't find how to activate all the midi channels in the komplete settings.
Thank you for your feedback and have a good evening

@Jul You can only change the MIDI channel of the Komplete Kontrol keyboard when in MIDI mode. You can set up a split with different MIDI channels when in the Komplete Kontrol standalone application:
Then in Ableton, put the keyboard in MDI mode, make sure to select the Komplete Kontrol MIDI input, not the plug-in.

I don't understand why that doesn't work
I give you the symptom: On Ableton, I connected a Prophet REV 2 in midi din IN and OUT via a motu micro lite, the DSI being multitimbral, I opted for 2 layers each on a track of Live. The first in channel 1 and the second in channel 2. (When using 2 different midi channels on the DSI, the second midi channel used is by default the first channel +1). I put All in midi channels on the DSI. My komplete controls layer 1 when I arm the track but does not control layer 2 in the same way. It seems completely crazy to me. I've done a lot of research but nothing works. I do not want to switch the Komplete to Midi DIN, it is connected via USB, at the risk of losing the interface implemented for the plugs: changes of presets, control of plug settings, etc. Attached are the routing photos for layers A and B (the DSI is connected to port 1 of the motu micro lite. Do you have an idea? It’s driving me crazy, thank you

Also I notice that when I arm the layer B track and play, the midi signal plays on channel 1.
