Reset instrument settings to default

I accidentally saved changes to an instrument (I clicked "Yes" on the save dialog when closing it), is there a way to reset it to the original state? If yes, how?

Thanks!

Restore the *.nki from a file backup,

or re-download/repair the instrument in Native Access.

😱 Not really... that's the only way??

Will there be a reset option in Kontakt 7? (might be a reason to upgrade...)

I doubt it. That's why the closing instrument dialog is there. They can't be expected to add any more safety checks when the initial issue is caused by pilot error.

Got your point, thanks. But I still disagree.

Even if it was saved intentionally (no pilot error), I can imagine there are reasons you want to reset the instrument to factory settings.

But anyway, understood—no way unless I reinstall it.

on my complete control I can hear the samples from the libraries, but when I try to use one of the samples, there’s no sound
