I am unable to load Kontakt in Studio One 5
I am really stumped, it doesn't appear in the instruments panel where it should, and when I try to locate it all I can find is the Kontakt folder but it doesn't contain the .dll or anything so it's basically pointless. Any help would be appreciated thank you

I should also note that there is no problem loading it as a standalone.

What version? Kontakt 7 is only available as a VST3, could this be the cause for your issues?
And how recently did you install Kontakt? I'm not familiar with Studio One myself, but have experiences with multiple DAW's and if there's one thing they have in common it's that most of them need to scan for new VST's and then build up their library. Could that be a factor here?

Kontakt 7 Player, yes. It shouldnt be a problem to find the VST because im using the pro version of Studio One and it accepts all 3rd party applications. I was previously able to use Kontakt in my DAW aswell, just now it doesn't want to work for some reason

Then I'm afraid this seems more related to your DAW than Kontakt, as far as I can tell of course.
But there's an option to rule this out. I'd suggest grabbing Reaper; it's a lightweight DAW which you can "evaluate" for an extensive period of time, which IMO makes this an ideal tool to verify issues like yours. Reaper also supports VST3 and uses the default paths by default. So if Reaper is able to use Kontakt 7 then you'll be sure that the problem lies with your other DAW. But if it fails as well, then it seems related to Kontakt.
I'd start there: rule out possible causes.

I think ShelLuser was right: you are searching for .dll, which is VST2. Kontakt 7 is only VST3.
Studio One supports VST3, but maybe you haven’t added the folder in S1 plugins manager.
The path is fixed, and is C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3. Check if S1 has this folder listed

Yes I have that listed in the VST locations. I think it's a bug or something I really can't think of anything else atm

Just installed Reaper and it was able to locate Kontakt with no issues so I'll probably have to reinstall S1. thx!

No need to reinstall - just perform a full plugin scan within Studio One:
Studio One will ask you if you want a restart - you do. It will then rebuild its plugin DB and if K7 Player is correctly installed as a VST3 AND Studio One is set to scan the VST3 folder (under Options->VST Plugins-Locations) - it should appear just fine.
Most S1 users turn OFF auto scan at startup = which leads to this scenario. I leave that setting off here but do a full plugin scan every couple of weeks or after a large(r) install of new stuff.
