Komplete Kontrol 3.0.1 installer?

Hi,

Native Access 2 stalls when trying to update komplete Kontrol.

It seems the plugin crashes Ableton on my setup in some sets in particular. I'd like to update it.

Is there an installer I could use instead of using Native Access?

    Kontakt 7 is on version 7.6.1, are you mixing it up with Komplete Kontrol? That is on version 3.01

    Yes you are right, bravo :). I meant komplete kontrol 3.0.1.

    I have a deadline going and I'm a bit frazzled.

    Do you need the latest version? If you are on a deadline it might be better to go with the previous version which is more stable perhaps, the installer for that is here

    Thanks for the suggestion. I might do it if I can't try the 3.0.1 soon.

    Do you think mixing a VST2 with VST3s might cause some problems?

    It still comes as a VST3 as well so you don’t have to use the VST2 if you don’t want to

    Do you need KK3 though? Do you have a Series III keyboard?

    What version do you have installed already?

    if you already have projects that depend on it the question is do you really even need 3.01? Personally if I was on a deadline I would stick with what I know till I had hit my goals, then consider upgrading when you have some breathing space

    I guess I could just re-ochestrate everything, yes. That would be the reasonable thing to do ;) ?

    If I reverted to a previous version, I'd have to load new sounds anyways, right?

    It depends, were your projects created with KK3 or KK2? 3 hasn’t exactly been out long and we are all still getting used to it. As I said, if you depend on KK3 for a Series III keyboard then of course stay with that, otherwise use whatever works best for your projects.

    Thanks. I'll use your wisdom and just ditch KK for Kontakt for now.
