Incidentally , then even if then the install location for the Kontakt 7.vst3 is wrong , it ought to be located at : C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Kontakt 7.vst3 which suggests that you have somehow installed the things wrong. In general you ought to have no files in root of c:\program files\common files\ so the api-ms-win-core-synch-l1-2-0.dll path is also wrong !

Also if the files exists at the locations then that would suggest some access problems..

But generally it appears as if you have installed more things the wrong place or as if something has screwed up your installation.

You could try to re-install the NI software to the right locations.

What is not working now? You do need to allow it to rebuild its database as it uses a different database to the old version.

i have downgrade the komplete kontrol 2.9 version

but I still get the same error message when I want to use a sound from kontakt7

General path settings I think is done in Native Acces preferences... (Make sure that the VST settings paths and other are set correct) .

do you have Kontakt 7 installed?

to rebuild the database open the standalone KK, open settings/library and there should be options to rescan the libraries, it should have done this automatically but maybe it was interrupted?

Then it is possible that you will need to re-install Komplete Kontrol and / or Kontakt 7 to the proper standard locations (other than root of c:\program files\common files\ ) to make it stop complaining and work !

everything worked before the update to version 3.0 of komplete kontrol

when I only use kontakt7 all my instruments work but it's komplete kontrol with kontakt7 that has a problem

In Komplete Kontrol menu 'Edit' , Preferences , select Plugins (bottom left) then Locations (top of Window) then in locations make sure that you have only the following four paths (prior to removing any paths then take a screenshot for your own use later if necessary) :

C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\VSTPlugins

C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\VSTPlugins 64 Bit

C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins\

If any paths are missing especially the C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 then add them by using the Add and then select ,

Then when paths have been set then click the Rescan down to the lower right in the Preferences - Plugins - Locations window

Check if that works !

Else in the Native Access interface find three dots ... down right where it says Kontakt 7 then make sure that the Installation paths says : C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Kontakt 7

If none of that helps then , i am sorry i have no other suggestions and you have to contact customer support !

That is the problem ! , if you have both deleted the old databases and set the VST3 folder correctly and if you did a Rescan (?) then it is beyond my understanding why it would keep reporting a problem at location c:\program files\common files\kontakt7.vst3

That is especially problematic since the default location for installation of VST3 is C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 and though that you can set it as a scan location then you apparently can not change it when it comes to install locations. So I have a hard time understanding why it would appear there ever to be a reference to kontakt7.vst3 at the location c:\program files\common files\

Had it been my own computer I would have started to look for the kontakt7.vst3 appearances inside Windows registry and other places such as DBs , but even if I had any real ideas I could not start that here..

I am very sorry that I were not able to help you relieve that particular problem but I have to leave it to support since they are the only ones that knows enough about the app internals to understand what could possibly have happened or how to remedy it since none of the suggestions I've made have been able to help. Please also refer support to this thread along with your general problem description so they can possibly benefit from it if they want !
