Search for nki files

Now that the really useful (in my mind) database function has been scrapped in Kontakt, is there anyway to search for nki files? I have loads of non library samples, across 4 drives. At the moment I'm resorting to windows explorer searches...
Surely they could just put a search box on the file tab?
